This revolution in wing design was born from a simple idea. Looking to eliminate the cumbersome de-rigging process, increase dockside safety and control under speed, we developed a lightweight, carbon fiber wing capable of rotating 360 degrees. While rotating masts are nothing new, the hybrid wing incorporates a battened mail sail to allow for reefing and control under sail. This offers an effective means to control the boat in high winds, and at mooring with sails down, is able to completely feather and rotate 360 degrees.
